HONOLULU--Millennium
3 Communications (M3Com) took advantage
of the 24th annual Pacific Telecommunications
Council meeting Monday to announce major "One
Stop Shop" agreements with China,
Singapore and Thailand..
The "One
Stop" agreements will allow M3Com's customers
to arrange for telephone, Internet, radio, broadband,
and other high tech connectivity into those countries
in a single path, through the Bermuda - based company
and any of its offices in eight offices around the
world. M3Com already provides connectivity to, from
and within 15 countries in Asia and on the Pacific
Rim.
The agreements connect M3Com with China-net
Com (CNC), Communications Authority of Thailand
(CAT) and SilngTel and StarHub of Singapore.
The
networking arrangements have already been tested
and are up and running, said a company
spokesperson. The company made the announcement
tto some 1,500 telecommunications specialists
attending the annual meeting of the largest communications
organization in the Pacific Rim.
John S. Bolus, president and CEO of M3Com said
the company had grown 300 percent in North America
since the beginning of 2001, and the corporate
office in Hong Kong had a 1,100 percent growth.
