Held on May 14th and 15th, the 2011 Chicago Green Festival is poised for success. Green Festival is a joint project of Green America and Global Exchange, two cutting-edge nonprofits that have been dedicated to furthering environmental and social concerns for nearly 30 years.

The upcoming Climate Ride bicycle tour will head from New York City to Washington DC from May 13th through the 17th. Connecting two of the most important cities in the US, the five-day ride departs from a Manhattan ferry and ends at an exciting rally held on the steps of the Capitol building in DC.

Nicki Minaj literally went green for charity last night (29.03.11), dying her hair to look like a bush. The 'Roman's Revenge' rapper attended the 'Christie's Green Auction: A Bid To Save The Earth' event in New York with her hair sculpted to resemble a tall shrubbery and dyed half green, half white. She rounded off the look with a black leotard, tights and boots coupled with pink lipstick.
