I am an America citizen who grew up in Princeton, Jersey. I went to Tufts University to earn a Bachelors degree in Biology and graduated with honors in 2012. My first interaction with conservation biology was during a youth trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. I traveled to Paraguay for my first time in 2010 when I was accepted as PLT's first-ever intern. I successfully conducted an ecological study on Clyomys laticeps and grew to appreciate and love the local fauna and the work that PLT did. During the rest of my degree, I remained in good contact with Karina Atkinson, founder of the organization, and returned to the site three times before finally being offered a job in July of 2012 as head of the intern program. I am currently acting as deputy executive director of the organization and I play a large role in our communication and outreach programs.
