A naturalist and an educator, Eric M. Keen has researched cetaceans in the Ligurian Sea, the rivers of Borneo, the geologic records of New Zealand, and the fjord-lands of Chile and British Columbia.
He is currently a research collaborator for Tethys Research Institute, North Coast Cetacean Society, and Centro Ballena Azul. He received degrees in Ecology and Religious Studies from Sewanee: The University of the South, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Indonesia.
