Zero Motorcycles Wins First Official Electric Off-Road Motorcycle Challenge in France

SANTA CRUZ, Calif., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Zero Motorcycles today announced its win at the Electric Motorcycle Challenge, organized by the French Federation of Motorcycles in Gironville, France. Over 250 riders competed in the race, with one Zero MX and four other electric motorcycles participating. Thomas Aubry, riding on behalf of Zero Motorcycles, proved the Zero MX has what it takes to not only beat out the other electric motorcycles, but to compete against the best gas powered riders in the race. After Aubry and the Zero MX beat the other electric competitors, he went on to take first place against gas motorcycles in the last race of his series, placing him third overall in his class.

"This was quite an event! We didn't even know about it until two weeks prior so we really pushed to get our team in order and race ready.
