DALLAS, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The Worldwide Center for Adult Stem Cell
Education LLC (WCASCE; http://www.adultstemcelleducation.com) today announced
that it has formally changed its name to The Repair Stem Cell Institute LLC
(RSCI; http://www.RepairStemCells.org). RSCI, based in Dallas with offices in
Washington, D.C. and Bangkok, provides the American public with repair stem
cell medical treatment center locations around the world so they can receive
immediate, life-changing therapies for congestive heart failure, sickle cell
anemia, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and many other diseases.
According to Donald Margolis (donmargolis@gmail.com; 214-556-6377),
founder, chairman and spokesman for RSCI, "Adult stem cells is a science that,
unlike embryonic stem cells, is truly a reality TODAY and helping to save and
improve patients' lives now. A more apt name, however, is REPAIR stem cells
because they regenerate the body tissues for medical self-help repair using
therapies that are already proven and ultra safe. The biggest advantage of
using repair stem cells is that the body's own stem cells can be used,
effectively removing the problems of immune rejection or abnormalities." He
noted that repair stem cells exist in every human being's tissues, where they
help regrow every possible cell in the body. "There are more different repair
stem cells in the human body than any scientist can now count," he said.
Scientists can extract these stem cells from patients, and if necessary,
multiply the cells in labs. When the cells are injected back into a patient,
they help grow healthy tissues improving the quality of life of the patient.
"Repair stem cells are made to repair, and their derivation,
characterization and utility can be found in skeletal muscle, dental pulp,
prostate, kidney, the eye and many other tissues, and scientists are just
scratching the surface about their many applications in regenerative
medicine," said Mr. Margolis. "Repair stem cells have already proven the
ability to offer promising prospects for effective treatments and possible
cures for people with heart conditions, spinal cord injuries, and a host of
incapacitating diseases such as diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS (Lou
Gehrig's Disease), and even Autism! Repair stem cells are unlike embryonics,
which are proliferating stem cells, so they cannot be moved off that goal of
rapid expansion no matter how brilliant the research team. For that reason
they are unstable and dangerous and may never be safely implanted into a
human," Mr. Margolis said.
