The online store provides the broadest selection of Ducks Unlimited merchandise available. It carries casual, comfortable clothing for the entire family's outdoor lifestyle, including tee shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and gift items. Members can access the online store by clicking on "Shop DU" from the Ducks Unlimited home page or by going directly to Shop.Ducks.org.
"Launching shop.ducks.org allowed us to expand our apparel program with Artisans and maximize its capabilities," according to Jim Alexander, director of licensing for Ducks Unlimited. "In order to meet the large demand for DU branded apparel, we decided to leverage the power of the DU brand with Artisan's expertise and create a destination e-commerce website for DU branded apparel." Ducks Unlimited has worked with Artisans since 2007.
Artisans has teamed up with Minneapolis-based Irish Titan, an online strategy and e-Commerce firm, to create an easy-to-use Shop.Ducks.org web site. Online buyers can zoom in to see product details and create wish lists for gift giving. Irish Titan will help drive revenues for Artisans and conservation funds for Ducks Unlimited through social marketing opportunities, such as Facebook, that encourage frequent visits to the new web site.
