WILMINGTON, Del. - (Business Wire) Wilmington Trust, one of the nation’s leading wealth management firms, announced that Linda L. Bourn has been hired as a managing director in its Wealth Advisory Services (WAS) business to serve the company’s ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients.

Wilmington Trust’s family office services comprise financial and risk management, including cash flow management; tax and accounting services; investment oversight, including asset allocation, manager selection, and consolidated reporting; and lifestyle management services. These services are complemented by the personal trust, estate planning, and fiduciary services for which Wilmington Trust’s WAS business is well-known. Ms. Bourn is based in New York and will serve Wilmington Trust’s clients nationally.

“Wilmington Trust is in the enviable competitive position of being able to deliver a unique and full range of comprehensive wealth management services that individuals and families of significant wealth require,” said Mark Graham, executive vice president of Wilmington Trust and head of WAS. “In the family office services profession, there are few advisors with Linda’s leadership experience and industry stature. We are delighted to have her at Wilmington Trust. I know she will be a valuable asset to our clients.”

Ms. Bourn joins Wilmington Trust from Clearbrook Partners, a family office firm where she served as managing director. Earlier, she served family office clients at Marsh USA, Inc. in New York. In her final position there, Ms. Bourn was managing director and leader of the company’s United States family office business. In this role, she led the creation of a family office practice, recruited professional staff, opened new offices, and served as a senior relationship manager.

Ms. Bourn has held numerous affiliations throughout her career with family office professional associations. She has been a member of the Leaders’ Council with the Institute for Private Investors, an advisory council member for Pinnacle Care International, and an advisory board member of the Institute for International Research Family Office Forum and the Family Office Exchange, among others. In addition, Ms. Bourn served as a faculty member in the Family Wealth Advisory Certificate Program at the Family Firm Institute. She holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University in Long Beach and is an MBA candidate at Babson College. Ms. Bourn has completed professional, post-graduate studies in private wealth management at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and in international management at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.

“I am excited to join Wilmington Trust, a firm that was founded more than 100 years ago to serve the needs of high-net-worth individuals and families,” said Ms. Bourn. “With such an esteemed legacy and some of the most respected professional staff in the wealth management industry, I couldn’t be joining a better team.”
