Secure Web Gateway solutions, today announced it has licensed a leading URL filter database to its BeSecure family of Security appliances. The database, containing 22 million blockable Web sites in 91 categories, significantly expands BeSecure's ability to enforce acceptable Internet use, improve employee productivity, and reduce security risk.
The BeSecure family, comprised of BeSecure Internet Gateway, BeSecure Web Gateway, and BeSecure Message Gateway, is one of the industry's fastest and most advanced solutions for preventing entry of hackers, viruses, malware and adware into enterprise networks. Each BeSecure appliance is able to inspect up to 3.5 million emails and 11.5 million Web pages per hour, giving enterprise and service providers the necessary performance and stability to address Web security at the network layer.
