Wayne Tile decided to sell a large portion of its warehouse inventory at greatly reduced prices with a portion of proceeds to go to the Wayne Fire Department. Michael Westra a partner commented, “ This is a great opportunity to recognize the dedicated men and women of the Wayne Fire Department.” In an outpouring of support hundreds of people flocked to the tent sale, which took place October 8th through October 10th.
On Wednesday, October 28 Bob Westra, another partner of Wayne Tile, announced that Wayne Tile would be donating $20,000 to the Wayne Fire Department. Bob went further to say “It is with great pleasure that Wayne Tile will present a check in the amount of $20,000 to the brave men and women of the Wayne Fire Department. If not for their heroism, our flagship store would surely have been destroyed.”
