Vocollect, Inc., the world leader in

workers, today announced the establishment of an office in Hong Kong and
the hiring of Vance Lau as managing director for the territory. Lau will be
based in Hong Kong. Under Lau's leadership, the Hong Kong office will
manage Vocollect business in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand,
Australia and New Zealand. Japan and South Korea operations will continue
to be managed from Vocollect's Tokyo office.
Lau's career spans over 20 years in the information technology industry,
with more than half of it in supply chain provider companies. Prior to
joining Vocollect, he was general manager, Hong Kong and Taiwan, in the
Business Objects Unit of SAP HK Limited. He also has held business
development leadership roles with Cognos HK Limited (general manager, North
Asia); J.D. Edwards Limited (director, Hong Kong Sales Operation); and
PeopleSoft Asia Pacific Limited (regional sales manager, Asia, based in
Singapore).
