NEW YORK, Nov. 2 NY-Medialink-CIGNA
NEW YORK, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- "Blah, blah, H1N1 blah," is what many kids hear when their parents try to teach them how to avoid getting H1N1, or the swine flu. To cut through the blahs let DocRock and his H1N1 Rap teach your kids how to avoid catching H1N1 or the regular seasonal flu.

Health service company CIGNA and Dr. Mache Seibel, a.k.a. DocRock, have produced a rap video teaching kids five steps they can take to avoid getting H1N1 available free on CIGNA's new YouTube channel www.youtube.com/cignatv.
There you'll also find other "Healthful Hints," stories from people who have overcome their illnesses and injuries, and videos on CIGNA's health-related projects, including Re-Mission, the ground-breaking video game that helps kids fight cancer.
H1N1 threatens to sicken millions of children. It is critical that they learn to protect themselves, and one way kids can learn is through music. DocRock's catchy H1N1 Rap gives kids a memorable way to follow the steps provided by the Centers for Disease Control to avoid contracting the H1N1 flu.
"If you can sing about a health issue, you can talk about it, and talking about it helps change behavior. Getting kids to sing about steps to avoid H1N1 helps them follow those steps," Dr. "DocRock" Seibel said.
Dr. Seibel is a board-certified physician who teaches at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As DocRock, he is an award-winning composer and performer of songs that help teach kids healthy behaviors through his HealthRock program.
