CAMBRIDGE, MA -- 11/04/09 --
Dedupe2.com, the gathering place for the
data management industry to discuss, debate and shape the next era of data
deduplication, today announced that it has launched a weekly podcast show
to be known as Dedupe 411.
The format of the show will be to answer questions submitted by visitors to
Dedupe2.com and will be hosted by Mike Ivanov, a 20-year veteran of the
data storage industry. Each week Mike will select one question from
visitors to be discussed and answered via podcast.
Visitors to the site can subscribe to Dedupe 411 via RSS feed and are
encouraged to submit questions of their own regarding data deduplication to
the show via the site's online submission form. Dedupe2 - 411 marks the
first official program launch of the Dedupe2.com site, however, additional
audio and video shows are planned for the following weeks and months.
Dedupe2 Quote:
"The idea behind the show was to provide a forum where members of the
storage community could submit questions about deduplication. The goal of
the show is to educate them on how Dedupe 2.0 will benefit them in the
future. Information has been swirling around in both the media and on
blogs regarding Dedupe 2.0 and this forum is a way to provide an open
dialogue with a wide audience and cut through some of the industry noise."
~ Mike Ivanov, host of Dedupe 411 on Dedupe2.com
