PORT CLINTON, Ohio, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- National Institute of Fire and Safety Training announced this week that the University of Utah will adopt NIFAST's Flashpoint fire safety education program for student training.
"The approach that NIFAST has taken with the Flashpoint program is outstanding," says Mike Halligan, of the University of Utah. "We are very excited to implement Flashpoint with our students."
NIFAST is at the forefront of fire safety training for university students, and the Flashpoint program is designed to provide effective real life fire safety training. "Our mission is to save lives," says Steve Smith, Executive Director at NIFAST. "These programs provide students with skills that will last well beyond their time spend in college." The University of Utah program began on November 2, 2009 and is targeted to members of the Greek Community, and the Freshman Class.
The National Institute of Fire and Safety Training (NIFAST) is the provider of effective and convenient fire safety training. In addition to student fire safety training, NIFAST provides training and certifications for professional inspectors, relocation professionals, the multi-family industry, as well as practical residential training.
