"We're very excited to once again expand our relationship with IMAX to offer moviegoers a chance to experience another one of our tent-pole movies in a truly unique and premium way."
"Completing our 2008 slate with this action title is a great way to enter the holiday season and kick off 2009," said IMAX Co-CEO's Richard L. Gelfond and Bradley J. Wechsler. "With the ongoing rollout of IMAX digital theatres, we expect that on December 12th the size of our network will be considerably larger than it is today, which is good for IMAX, exhibitors in the IMAX business, our partners at Fox and, of course, moviegoers."
"We're thrilled to once again be back in business with Fox with another big holiday release," added Greg Foster, Chairman and President of IMAX Filmed Entertainment. "We expect an action-packed film like this to appeal a wide audience, including the elusive tech-savvy 15 - 30 year-old demographic.
