SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Opening night of Tony n' Tina's Wedding at Aquarium of the Bay's Farallon Room on February 15th marks the first time the popular dinner comedy has embraced the green movement. In keeping with the Aquarium's role as a Certified Green Businesses in San Francisco, the local nature center prefers to rent space to organizations that commit to using green practices during their events.
"As one of San Francisco's most interesting event sites, Aquarium of the Bay is experienced at hosting weddings, but I doubt that any of our previous events adequately prepares us for having this fun-filled event onsite on an ongoing basis," stated the Aquarium's executive director John Frawley. "We are especially pleased that we have influenced the producers to use green practices in the San Francisco show."
Tony n' Tina's Wedding is the original interactive comedy hit where audience members play the roles of "invited guests" at a hilarious wedding ceremony. The evening begins with the nuptials, followed by a rousing reception featuring a full Italian dinner, wedding cake, champagne toast and dancing.
The show's producer is Raphael Berko, who is also responsible for successful productions of Tony n' Tina's Wedding in New York City, Las Vegas, Orlando and in conjunction with Norwegian Cruise Lines in Maui. Larry Pellegrini, who staged the original Off-Broadway production, directs.

Tony n' Tina's Wedding -- which has received many rave reviews since its original New York City opening in 1987 -- will perform Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, starting February 15 at the Aquarium of the Bay, Pier 39, San Francisco.
