KENILWORTH, N.J., March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Schering-Plough , the makers of COPPERTONE(R), announced today the launch of two new sunscreen products with an SPF of 70+, the highest protection rating available to consumers in a continuous spray. The two new SPF 70+ products are family-friendly COPPERTONE ULTRAGUARD(R) and COPPERTONE SPORT(R), a product designed for active lifestyles.
COPPERTONE SPORT, featuring ultrasweatproof and waterproof protection, and COPPERTONE ULTRAGUARD will offer clear continuous sprays in SPF 70+ to give consumers superior formulas that provide durable, photostable protection against both UVA and UVB rays. The products also contain a special antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals. Free radicals can be formed in skin that is exposed to harmful UV rays, leading to both visible and hidden skin damage.
