Abrahams says, “As a serious comic fan, I had to get my hands on the first series, and when I read them, I realized I was on to something unique.” Adam Hamdy will write the feature screenplay. Details are under wraps, but Hamdy says, “It’s an entirely original Hunter story; a fresh and exciting way of introducing movie-goers to a character that has captured the imagination of comic fans around the world.” “Not only is Adam an accomplished writer, he is an innovative entrepreneur. He’s succeeded in building a new superhero brand virtually single-handed in a market that is dominated by big companies with very deep pockets” said producer Steven Pearl. “We’re excited to be working with him.” Hamdy will produce the movie adaptation alongside Scarlet Fire Entertainment. “Collaborating with Shane, Steven and Allan is a real privilege.
