LOS ANGELES - (Business Wire) Greenberg Glusker today announced that two of the Firm’s attorneys, Bert Fields and Bonnie E. Eskenazi, are included in The Hollywood Reporter’s 2009 Power Lawyers list, which recognizes the 100 most influential attorneys in the entertainment industry.

"We are proud of these marquee attorneys who continually and deservedly take their place in this distinguished ranking," said Greenberg Glusker’s Managing Partner Norman H. Levine. “We congratulate Bert and Bonnie for setting the standards of the Firm at the highest levels.”

For the past 40 years, Bert Fields has represented the industry’s top performers, directors, writers, producers, studios, talent agencies, book publishers and record companies. Clients include DreamWorks, MGM, United Artists, Warren Beatty, Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman, James Cameron, Mike Nichols, Jeffrey Katzenberg, David Geffen, Jerry Bruckheimer, Joel Silver, Sherry Lansing, The Beatles, Madonna, Sony Music and many others. In addition, he has represented such major authors as Mario Puzo, James Clavell, Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler and Richard Bach.

Ms. Eskenazi reaffirms her standing from last year as a leading Hollywood litigator and as one of a small group of female counselors named to the elite list. Ms. Eskenazi is currently representing the J.R.R. Tolkien Estate against New Line Cinema in connection with the “Lord of the Rings” film franchise in one of the largest profit-participation cases ever filed against a studio. She is also representing Marvel Entertainment in a major dispute. Recently, she was counsel to CBS studios in the widely covered “Two and a Half Men” lawsuit against Warner Bros. Ms. Eskenazi’s other clients have included composer Hans Zimmer, children’s animation studio Classic Media, opera singer Renée Fleming, violinist Joshua Bell, owners of the rights to “Alvin & The Chipmunks,” studio chief Jeffrey Katzenberg, MGM, Paramount Pictures, and DIC animation studio chief Andy Heyward.

This accolade from The Hollywood Reporter comes during a year of major recognition for Ms. Eskenazi. During 2009, she was named one of the Daily Journal’s “Top 100 Women Litigators,” a “Super Lawyer” by Los Angeles Magazine and as one of America's Leading Lawyers in Entertainment & Media by Chambers USA.
