January 2010 marks 16 years for The Hitch Man, Inc. providing Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and Pennsylvania with an array of products and top quality service in the trailer and auto industries.

WALDORF, MD, October 31, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Hitch Man, Inc. (THMI) originated as a one man tow package and truck accessory installer in 1994. Now THMI is considered Maryland's premier Towing Center with two large locations in Waldorf (southern) and Taneytown (northern) Maryland. The family owned business now represents large manufacturers such as Wells Cargo, Car-Mate, U.S. Cargo, Hudson, Carry On, Bri-Mar, Holmes, Worthington, Load Rite, and many more!

Besides offering new and reconditioned trailers, THMI also offers a full line of towing products and truck accessories. THMI is a full service tire shop, Western Snow Plow dealer, and full service trailer repair center as well. Many government agencies have also relied heavily on THMI's products and services in order to provide our troops with the latest towing equipment domestically and overseas.

Peter L. Peno, president, is now on the advisory board for the N.A.T.D.A. (North American Trailer Dealers Association) which plays a major role in supporting the trailer industry as a whole. The N.A.T.D.A. now has over 900 members and is growing very quickly. As a member on the advisory board, THMI is helping to build this organization and ensure that THMI stays on the cutting edge of new products, services, and Highway Safety Regulations.
