TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Technology Council of Southern California announced today the finalists for the 2008 Technology Industry Awards. The awards will be presented at the gala dinner event on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and will honor individuals and companies that play a significant role in advancing Southern California as a center for technological innovation. AlwaysOn Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief Tony Perkins will give the keynote speech at the event, which is scheduled to begin at 6 pm PST.
This year's awards ceremony will also include two special presentations. George Klaus, executive chairman of Epicor Software Corporation, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Jim McCluney, CEO of Emulex Corporation will be named CEO of the Year.
