Sun Group has unveiled the world's first Pint-size Personal Digital Signage, Video Name Tag, Digital Tag media Player

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands--THE Digital TAG, the Sun Group’s version of a personal digital signage media player, Video Name Tag media player, Audienec tag can deliver tailored video messages to customers in retail stores.
The Sun Group of Taipei, Taiwan, has introduced THE Digital Tag media player(Model No.: SUN-SG824), a wearable digital signage media player the size of a 2.4inch name tag that delivers a message through professional video content on a 320 x 240 resolution screen.

According to the company, it designed this tiny digital signage media player Audience tag marketing tool to enable retail employees to deliver tailored messages to every customer. The Video name tag media player turns location-specific marketing and sales messages into a one-on-one employee/customer interaction.
Other applications the company suggests include employee orientation and training, job fairs, conventions and social events.

THE Video Name Tag media player, Audience tag content can be set to display individual store specific messaging like specials, company wide marketing or any combination of the two using AVI or JPEG content. New content can be easily uploaded using a mini SD card and mini USB interface, the company said.

The unit size: 64 x 48 x 10 mm, weighs just 59 gram and averages 8-10 hours of playback time on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
