SUPERIOR, CO -- 09/23/08 -- StillSecure®, provider of secure network infrastructure solutions, today announced a strategic relationship with Novell to provide a re-branded version of the StillSecure Safe Access® network access control solution (NAC) as part of the Novell ZENworks® systems management family. Named "Best Endpoint Security Solution" in the 2008 SC Magazine Readers Trust Awards, Safe Access has also been recently recognized as "Best Endpoint Security Product of the Year" in the 2007 TechWorld Awards, and "Editor's Choice" by Windows IT Pro.

ZENworks Endpoint Security Management provides removable device security, personal firewalls, wireless security and application control to secure the network and give organizations mobile computing flexibility without fear of data loss or attack. Adding NAC extends ZENworks' current capabilities by bringing policy-based NAC to end users. ZENworks customers will now be able to take advantage of the four vital areas of NAC, which include pre-connect testing, post-connect revalidation, identity-based management, and endpoint remediation. These functions can be applied to all types of endpoint devices connecting to the network -- managed, unmanaged, wireless, LAN, etc.

"ZENworks Endpoint Security Management minimizes the security risks associated with the increase in the number and type of devices requiring access to the corporate network," said Jason Werner, product marketing manager for Novell Systems and Resource Management. "Working with StillSecure we are extending ZENworks' management capabilities to offer network access control, thus adding a new level of protection to help our customers lock down the most dangerous place on the corporate network, the endpoint."

Alan Shimel, Chief Strategy Officer at StillSecure, said, "Our proven approach to NAC helps end users protect their IT investment by ensuring all devices connecting to the network are free from risk and safe to gain access. We are pleased that Novell is leveraging StillSecure's expertise to offer its customers Novell ZENworks Network Access Control as another line of defense against ever increasing endpoint security threats."
