SEATTLE, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte today announced the appointment
of Steve McKean as principal in charge of the Enterprise Risk Services (ERS)
practice in the Pacific Northwest covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah.
Based in Seattle, McKean is now responsible for regional marketplace
activities and personnel development and will serve on the Seattle office
leadership committee.

Steve has extensive experience helping companies improve the efficiency,
effectiveness and control of their operations and systems. He has served
clients in the aerospace and defense, energy and technology industries and is
currently the ERS retail and consumer products industry leader for Northern
California and the Pacific Northwest.
McKean is involved in active support of the local community, including
leading Deloitte's Seattle Community Involvement Committee. Under his
leadership, the office-wide program has improved its strategic direction and
increased the visibility and support for charitable organizations by
Deloitte's professional staff. Additionally, McKean will soon join the board
of directors for the United Way of King County where he will work to help grow
its contributions through an increase in corporate involvement. In the past,
he served on the Board of Directors for ArtsFund and on the advisory board for
the University of Washington Business School's eBusiness program. He received
his M.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Washington.
