LOS ANGELES, CA -- 03/13/08 -- Spot Runner today announced that Joanne Bradford, a veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the media industry, will join the company as executive vice president of National Marketing Services, starting in late March. Bradford will be responsible for leading the business unit focused on national advertisers.

"Hiring Joanne is a huge win for Spot Runner and we are tremendously excited about the contributions she can make across our entire organization as a key member of the executive team. Her background in both online and offline media is a perfect fit for us," said Nick Grouf, chairman and CEO of Spot Runner. "Early on, advertisers that were not served by the traditional agency community identified Spot Runner as an effective and affordable solution to market their business on a national and local level. As we have continued to make traction in this area, we saw the opportunity to bring on a seasoned senior executive to lead and accelerate our business with national advertisers."

Bradford joins Spot Runner from Microsoft, where she served as corporate vice president and chief media officer of MSN Media Network, one of the world's most successful information and entertainment networks, with more than 465 million unique users around the world each month. In this role, she led global product and platform development, content and programming, business development, product management, marketing and branded entertainment. Prior to that, Bradford served as Microsoft's corporate vice president of global sales and marketing and chief media revenue officer for Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions across all Microsoft properties, including MSN, Windows Live, OfficeLive.com, Microsoft.com, Xbox, the Microsoft TV Internet Protocol Television Edition software platform and mobile content. Bradford was vice president and director of North American Advertising Sales at BusinessWeek magazine before joining Microsoft in 2001.

"I'm thrilled about joining such a visionary and entrepreneurial team. The opportunity to help advertisers buy media more efficiently is huge and Spot Runner is on to a great solution," said Bradford.

Bradford's many accolades throughout her career include being named one of BusinessWeek's Media Up-and-Comers, Advertising Age's 2003 "Women to Watch," the "Chairman's Award," an internal Microsoft honor bestowed on exceptional employees and a McGraw-Hill "Excellence in Management" award in 2000. She graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in journalism and advertising.
