to the Advanced Breast Center (ABC) in Puerto Rico for its Mammo View(TM)
system. ABC requested the Mammo View(TM) system in order to promote breast
health among women in Puerto Rico and aid in detecting early stages of breast
cancer.
Advanced Breast Center (ABC) is a Puerto Rican not-for-profit corporation,
established in 2004 under the Puerto Rican Corporations Act, and authorized
and certified to provide diagnostic evaluation, treatment and surgery services
for breast-related illnesses. ABC was established with the purpose of serving
the community with the latest technology, particularly the female population
and with regards to breast conditions. ABC has two 3,000 square meter
facilities for patient evaluation, providing all the equipment needed to offer
high quality service, and a 10,000 square meter ambulatory center.
Solos Endoscopy's Mammo View (TM) system employs advanced micro endoscopes
and optical technology to give physicians sharp, clear images of the milk
ducts where the majority of breast cancers arise. The Mammo View(TM) system
