Training level cosmetic physicians collaborate in special Train the Trainers meeting. Top Sculptra trainer Los Angeles Dermatologist, Dr. Rebecca Fitzgerald, presents at the event.

(PRWEB) November 9, 2009 -- Los Angeles Sculptra expert Rebecca Fitzgerald joined a large group of designated training physicians for the recently approved collagen stimulator Sculptra at the Train the Trainers event held in Santa Monica.. Dr. Fitzgerald provided her unique insight and experience in a shared expertise environment with dozens of other training physicians who have elevated expertise with Sculptra. Sculptra is the only FDA approved product of its kind, producing a collagen stimulating response which helps restore age-related volume loss.

Dr. Fitzgerald's participation is part of her ongoing national and international activity with Dermik, the cosmetic arm of Sanofi Aventis, maker of the novel Scultpra injectable product. Dr. Fitzgerald has in the first 9 months of this year provided training for a large number of doctors across the U.S. and internationally across Europe.

As one of Sculptra's appointed Experienced trainers, she is involved in the intense training programs which certify physicians to become part of the company selected Training Bureau. It is this level of participation that sets Dr. Fitzgerald apart in her private practice in Los Angeles and has secured her elevated recognition by her peers.

Train the Trainers was a special opportunity for dermatologists, plastic surgeons and ophthalmologists from the U.S and Europe to share most effective techniques for the growing application of Scultpra in facial rebalancing and volume restoration.

"We all learn from each other," Dr. Fitzgerald remarked. "With the research being done on why certain aspects of appearance change as we age, we are able to address those changes in a way that helps maintain the vibrancy and energy we feel, but sometimes doesn't show on our faces. I'm always delighted to be able to spend valuable time like this with my colleagues as each and every one of us can add to the others' skill set and ability to give our patients the absolutely best results possible."

Rebecca Fitzgerald is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society of Dermatological Surgery (ASDS). She is on the clinical faculty at the University of California -- Los Angeles (UCLA).
