DAVIS, Calif. - (Business Wire) Schilling Robotics, Inc. announced today that Gil Llacuna is the companys new vice president and corporate controller, and that Sally Larocca has become its first vice president of human resources. Now growing at 40% a year, Schilling is a leading global producer of subsea control systems, ROVs (remotely operated vehicles), and other high-technology equipment and services for oil and gas subsea exploration and production.

Llacuna and Larocca both report to John Kehoe, Schillings senior vice president and chief financial officer, who joined the company earlier this year. Kehoe said of Llacuna, Gil brings us a strong blend of private company and public accounting experience with organizations such as VeriFone, GE, and Arthur Andersen. On one hand, this will enable us to achieve transparency when we undertake financings, but it will also help us achieve superior control over asset management, financial management reporting, and other processes that are critical for successful global enterprises. Llacuna received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Schillings elevation of the top human resources position to vice president status coincided with Laroccas arrival. Said Kehoe, Sally comes during a period of accelerated growth and hiring as we are upgrading our human resources practices and training at our locations in California, Texas, and Scotland. Solid recruiting and human resource management is critical for us to be able to rapidly grow our business globally. Larocca has substantial experience at companies in the Davis-Sacramento area, including EdFund, Yamas Controls Incorporated, and Intel Corporation. She received a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from California State University, Sacramento.
