SAN DIEGO, CA -- 11/11/09 --
In an effort to allow their members to review
and utilize a larger amount of valuable property data, Sandicor, San Diego County's regional
MLS, has expanded its SmartLink partnering by going outside of the state of
California to bordering states.
Sandicor has implemented SmartLink technologies with HiCentral MLS, a
wholly owned subsidiary of the Honolulu Board of Realtors. HiCentral MLS is
the primary MLS for the entire island of Oahu, Hawaii, and also contains
some property data across all other islands of Hawaii. The partnership will
allow Sandicor members access to property details outside of the state of
California in an area where many mainland consumers are looking for either
relocation or second homes. In addition, HiCentral MLS members will gain
access to property details on San Diego
homes for sale in Sandicor's San
Diego MLS.
"We previously made county real estate borders disappear by expanding
Sandicor members' access from just San
Diego real estate listings to other MLSs in Southern California,
however we found many San Diego residents were looking to buy in places
other than California," said Ray Ewing, CEO of Sandicor. "By expanding our
SmartLink technologies to the HiCentral MLS Sandicor members will have
access to a diverse market that will interest agents, brokers, and
consumers and provide infinite options for marketing plans.
"We are extremely proud to be one of the first MLSs to make the huge
technical leap to go beyond statewide boundaries. This expansion of the
real estate professional's property database allows them to serve their
clients in ways they were never able to before."
In addition to partnering with HiCentral MLS, Sandicor has setup SmartLinks
with MRMLS (the Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service, Inc. serving the
Riverside area), SOCAL (the Southern California Multiple Listing Service,
serving the Orange County area), and CLAW (the Combined LA Westside
Multiple Listing Service, serving Beverly Hills, Malibu, and Southwest Los
Angeles).
Sandicor members can begin exploring these systems in TEMPO via the
MySideBar, SmartLinks section. SmartLink allows Sandicor members guest
permission based access into other MLS software systems where they can
search for properties, view detailed property information, print property
reports, and even email out property information to perspective clients. In
addition, the Sandicor member has access to search and view detailed agent,
broker, and real estate office information.
The SmartLink functionality allows Sandicor members to be able to serve
their local San Diego County based clients with real estate information
from MLS sources in other areas, and allows consumers to make informed
decisions such as whether to purchase a property in other areas bordering
the San Diego Country region, obtain an agent referral in another area, or
just compare the value of their current property against what is going on
in other regional markets.
