PALO ALTO, Calif. - (Business Wire) Salesgenie.com® (an infoGROUP company)(NASDAQ: IUSA), the leading provider of online solutions for sales effectiveness management, and van Dillen Partners, producer of The Challenge charity golf events, announced today the results of the second annual Silicon Valley Salesgenie.com Golf Challenge held Monday, October 6th, 2008 at the Stanford University Golf Course. Salesgenie.com executives were on hand to usher in their new title sponsorship of the event and congratulate the winning teams on their contributions. Salesgenie.com was also proud to announce to the over 300 people in attendance their plans to continue to sponsor the event through 2010.

The Challenge is a one day golf outing in which five-person teams of celebrities, business leaders, and local golfers compete in a super charged LPGA/PGA sudden death style play-off. The top eight finishing teams in the two net best ball morning 18-hole round qualify for a shoot-out for $200,000 in prize money for charity. Unique among golf events, all winnings from The Challenge are directed to the winning teams charities of their personal choice.

This years winning team, First Virtual Group, comprised of Stanford Mens Head Coach, Conrad Ray, philanthropist John Arillaga, past Stanford mens number #1 player Zach Miller and local businessmen, Erik Doyle and Jack Bariteau directed their first place prize of $85,000 to the Siebel Varsity Golf Facility maintenance endowment.

The second place team of Carol Bartz, Mary Meeker, Jenni Tangtaphiboontana, Kay Cockerill, and Brandi Chastain stayed on the heels of the otherwise all mens event and were the story of the day after qualifying as a wild card team and winning all 3 levels of the skills competition before losing in the finals. Their $40,000 second place prize was donated equally to five different local entities of the ladies choice.

The Silicon Valley Salesgenie Golf Challenge will air on Comcast Sports Net on Monday, November 3rd at 8:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, immediately following the Warriors Round Table in the local Bay Area cable market. This one hour show of highlights of the event is produced by Elevate Media and features renowned sports broadcaster, Ted Robinson.

Next years Silicon Valley Salesgenie Golf Challenge event is scheduled for Monday, October 5th, 2009 at Stanford University Golf Course.
