SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- 11/03/09 --
SMC Recordings announced today it
officially teamed up with Noyz Music Group. The first release from this new
collaboration is Sacramento rapper Bueno's album, "Can't Knock the Hustle,"
debuting December 15.
The album features Mistah F.A.B., The Jacka, Oakland Legend Yukmouth and
Inglewood's 2Eleven representing Young Jeezy's CTE imprint. Production
includes Ice Cube producers, Hallway Productionz, Cozmo (Bun B, Game), and
the Grammy-nominated team of Stereotypes (Neyo, Mary J Blige) who saw huge
success with their hit single "Damage" (Danity Kane).
Hailing from South Sacramento, Bueno grew up in the Meadowview Carella
Gardens low income housing area where he ran the mean streets as a young
boy. Looking to the future, Bueno became a high school basketball star and
graduated from college, but his love of music pulled him into the rap
game.
In 2003 Bueno formed the Noyz Music Group (NMG) with current Co-CEO Lavega
"Kream" Sims. Recognizing his talent, childhood pal George Foreman Jr.
assisted in brokering the joint venture deal between Noyz and SMC. "I have
personally witnessed Bueno's grind and dedication for years and am happy to
assist with the growth of his career," says Foreman Jr.
Bueno received regional acclaim with his first two projects, "Change The
Game" in 2003 and "The Sacramento B" in 2007. The albums
featured appearances by E-40, the late Mac Dre and Keak Da Sneak. "Can't
Knock The Hustle" is sure to make an even bigger impact with Bueno's single
"6 A.M." currently tearing up radio airwaves throughout Northern
California. The official music video for "6 A.M." was released in October
and recently premiered on MTV Jams.
