A veteran of the music industry, Steve Johnston will play an integral role
in RoyaltyShare's European growth, working as director of business development
to expand the company's base of record label customers. Prior to joining the
RoyaltyShare team, Johnston served as key account manager with the MCPS-PRS
Alliance where he negotiated pan-European licenses for EMI, PRS and the GEMA
publishing repertoire with leading European digital services. Prior to that,
he served as head of licensing with FRUKT, a leading UK music communications
agency, developing the company's Nokia account.
Asa Palmer has been promoted to oversee RoyaltyShare's expansion in the
United Kingdom as director of UK operations. Prior to its acquisition by
RoyaltyShare, Asa served as director of marketing for Musicalc, and will
continue to serve as general manager of the Musicalc product line. Chris
Palmer, architect of Musicalc software, will remain with the RoyaltyShare team
as director of product management for Europe.
Andrew Hudson will coordinate support for all European clients as director
of client services. Hudson most recently served as senior product specialist
for Counterpoint Systems, a prominent supplier of royalty administration
software. Prior to specializing in royalty and rights management within the
entertainment industry, Andrew gained a wealth of experience in the
development and support of relational database systems as an analyst
programmer for AXIA Management Services.
