Romarco appoints Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSXV: R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Fraser Sinclair as Sr. Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective November 9, 2009.
Mr. Sinclair has over 20 years of senior financial leadership experience in the mining, technology, professional service and manufacturing industries. Mr. Sinclair brings extensive senior management experience including financing, corporate turnaround and restructuring, strategic planning and M&A transactions. Mr. Sinclair was most recently Vice President, Finance and CFO of North American Palladium Ltd., a publicly traded mining company, where he initiated and led a US$86 million equity financing. Prior to that Mr. Sinclair ran his own independent consulting practice providing senior level financial and business advisory services. Mr. Sinclair is a Chartered Accountant and earned his CA designation with Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young). He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. Mr. Sinclair will be based in Toronto at the Company's new headquarters.
