five prestigious awards for its environmental marketing materials. The awards
were given by leading design publication Graphic Design USA, the Art Directors
Club of New Jersey, and the Association of Marketing and Communication
Professionals.
The posters and POP (point-of-purchase) displays detail Ricoh's recycling
programs, ENERGY STAR(R) qualified devices, and software solutions that reduce
paper and energy usage. Produced by Ricoh's Environmental Marketing &
Communications Group and designed by Morris/Weber, a New Jersey-based
advertising firm, the series feature large vibrant images of flora with text
that conveys Ricoh's commitment to the environment while promoting the "total
green office solution" mantra that guides the company's eco-initiatives.

Graphic Design, USA, (GDUSA) selected Ricoh as one of its 2008 American
Inhouse Design Award recipients out of more than 5,000 entries. Each year,
GDUSA recognizes corporate, non-profit and institutional in-house departments
that create high-quality, innovative promotional materials and features them
in their Awards Annual. This year, Ricoh was recognized at the Art Directors
Club of New Jersey (ADCNJ) with two Certificates of Excellence; the materials
were selected from more than 600 entries to be featured in the ADCNJ's 45th
annual art exhibit. Finally, in its international competition honoring
professionals involved in the creation of traditional and emerging media, the
Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals gave Ricoh's POP
displays the Gold Medal honor and awarded Honorable Mention distinction to its
poster series in the 2008 Hermes Creative Awards program. With more than 130
entry categories, AMCP's program features the best and brightest in the
marketing communications industry and draws submissions from across the globe.
