Winners will be announced this week at the TelcoTV 2009 tradeshow on Wednesday, November 11. The VMG is an integrated, carrier-class video processing solution that enables service providers to deliver high-quality digital and IPTV-based video services in both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4/H.264. It was named a finalist in the encoding category based on its advanced transcoding capabilities, which enable the VMG to convert MPEG-2 programs into MPEG-4/H.264, and vice versa, in real time.
