WASHINGTON, April 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following event announcement is being issued by Wireless Communications Association International:

What: The Wireless Communications Association International's WCA 2008 will convene key players from government and industry -- including 120 expert speakers -- to discuss "Capitalizing on the 4G Ecosystem." The focus is on how broadband -- especially mobile wireless just coming to market -- is transforming our way of life. Convention keynoters include House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, discussing broadband opportunities in health care and IT; U.S. Senate candidate and former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner describing community development; and Sprint Nextel CTO & XOHM President Barry West, who will discuss his company's upcoming multi-billion-dollar launch of its mobile 4G XOHM WiMAX launch of commercial service nationwide.
