RALEIGH, N.C. - (Business Wire) Red Hat (NYSE:RHT), the world
’s leading provider of open source solutions, today announced improvements in organizational alignment intended to speed decision making and foster collaboration as the company continues its focus on rapid growth. Two of Red Hat's top priorities are scaling the business and expanding its international footprint to better serve enterprise customers. Red Hat executives are building teams to support these objectives.
Paul Cormier has been Executive Vice President of Engineering at Red Hat since joining in 2001 and was a key team member responsible for Red Hat's shift from a retail boxed product company to an enterprise subscription company. Alex Pinchev joined Red Hat in 2003 as Executive Vice President of Sales to expand Red Hat's international footprint and drive global sales strategy. Since then Red Hat has developed impressive mindshare and marketshare globally and has established a presence in many new and emerging markets such as Russia, China, India and Latin America. Pinchev is now responsible for all global sales, services and field marketing. Pinchev is Executive Vice President and President, Global Sales, Services and Field Marketing.
“Organizing key groups in the company to focus on expanding Red Hat in the enterprise and scaling the business will enable Red Hat to operate more efficiently.
