RANGE RESOURCES CORPORATION (NYSE: RRC) announced today that it has added David P. Poole to its management team as Senior Vice President -- General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Poole has approximately 20 years of experience serving in various legal counsel capacities. From 2004 until March 2008 after its sale, he was with TXU Corp., serving most recently as Executive Vice President
– Legal, and General Counsel. Prior to joining TXU, Mr. Poole spent 16 years with Hunton & Williams LLP and its predecessor, where he last served as the Managing Partner of the Dallas office. Mr. Poole graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and a J.D.
magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law.
