WESTPORT, Conn. - (Business Wire) Proposal Software, Inc. (PSI), The Leader In Proposal Productivity, and developers of PMAPS® the top-rated Proposal Management and Production System, has announced a new stand-alone Search & Assembly module for PMAPS® which greatly expands the proprietary web-based technologies of this market-leading best in class proposal management platform.

We have created a completely web-based/SQL driven product, including all of the existing PMAPS® functionality with improvements not found in any other proposal management products, said John A. Laurino, CEO of Proposal Software, Inc. He added, It is the best of both worlds for our customers, giving them a new, alternative technology platform with improvements to the existing PMAPS® functionality and workflow.

The web-based Search Accelerator module functionally replaces the existing web-based PMAPS® Document Portal, and/or the Read-Only modules. It includes full Pitch Book capabilities in the Assembly portion of the module and the ability to search anywhere index and assemble Word, PowerPoint and PDF file content. Other features include:

  • Continued productivity improvements to the already leading Search Text and Retrieval functionality of PMAPS®,
  • Full Search Preview identical to todays PMAPS® with the complete formatted document being visible versus thumbnails or text-only views,
  • Improved Compliance workflow using PMAPS® proven segmentable and customizable database attributes,
  • Assembly expanded to now include PowerPoint files in addition to the existing Word and PDF output options.

PMAPS® includes powerful sales and marketing tools enabling users to integrate, exchange and coordinate data with a variety of external database formats, particularly CRM platforms. Other improvements offered in this new module include a unique combination of the web applications ability to work with local network and desktop Microsoft Office applications not found in any other proposal software solution. In addition it also includes an industry unique way for customers to access and maintain their proprietary data when using the PMAPS® On Demand hosted SaaS configuration.
