MALTON, ENGLAND -- 02/10/10 --
Propalms, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PRPM) is
pleased to announce that the Company has released the latest version of its
VPN (Virtual Private Network) software. Propalms projects that the sales
of its new VPN 3.5 product in the next 12 months, could generate over $1
Million in revenue. Our new VPN 3.5 includes new features and
functionality such as an improved management console interface, multiple
authentication server and authentication cascading, external authentication
server, block groups, global VPN domain settings, amongst other new
features. Propalms will be looking to increase its market share in the
$5.8 Billion virtual applications market by increasing its enterprise VPN
customer base by utilizing the Company's strong global distribution
channels and reseller network. The product can be downloaded either as a
standard download or a virtual appliance from the Company's website:
www.propalms.com.
Propalms VPN 3.5 enables users to have increased security by allowing the
administrator to specify a list of users and/or groups that are not allowed
to log into the VPN gateway. This feature can be used when the external
authentication server cannot provide any role information and VPN local
groups need to be used to put users into particular roles. In that case,
specific local groups can be blocked to log into VPN. The software also
features new product licensing, which includes a system default license,
endpoint security feature control based on license as well as making the
license key tied to a particular hardware. With Propalms VPN 3.5,
administrators can back up the configuration and restore the same in case
of a disaster. The backup file is stored on administrator's desktop which
can be uploaded back to gateway for restoration. There are two back options
available: User settings backup or full system backup.
"The release of Propalms VPN 3.5 makes Propalms a more diversified software
development and marketing company. The new features and functionality of
the product will enable us to gain new customers in the virtual private
network applications space, as well as offering upgrades to our existing
client base," stated Owen Dukes CEO, Propalms Inc.
