SAN FRANCISCO - (Business Wire) Prometheus Real Estate Group Inc., the largest private owner of multi-family properties in the San Francisco Bay Area, has hired Kevin Wilkinson, CPA, as vice president of accounting. Wilkinson oversees all accounting functions for Prometheus, including those of its 80 properties and corporate office. Additionally, he is responsible for identifying and implementing new systems and processes that maximize internal efficiencies, assess and meet reporting deadlines, and ensure that integrity and accuracy is maintained within all financial materials. Wilkinson will report to Clay Parker, CFO for Prometheus, and will be based in the company’s San Mateo, Calif., headquarters.

Wilkinson has more than 15 years of finance and accounting experience. Before joining Prometheus, he served as CFO for Knowledge Networks, where he oversaw all aspects of financial planning and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, fixed asset, risk management, treasury, stock administration, human resources, legal, real estate, and tax reporting and compliance. He also served as corporate controller and treasurer for Jamba Juice, where he supervised accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal audit, payroll, financial reporting, fixed asset and construction accounting, lease management, risk management, treasury, stock administration, and legal and tax reporting/compliance. Wilkinson earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from San Jose State University.
