LOS ANGELES, CA -- 07/08/08 --
Pringo, the leader in empowering online
communities, has announced that the latest versions of its social
networking solutions will include micro-blogging features. This marks the
first white label social networking platform which allows customers to
employ Twitter-like functionality.
Micro-blogging merges the one-to-many broadcast model of blogging with an
immersive network model of a social network. For marketers it acts as a
direct channel to potential customers and also acts as a channel for
feedback.
Pringo will demonstrate its platform at the Social Networking Conference in
San Francisco, July 10 and 11, at the Mission Bay Conference Center.
"As online marketing shifts toward branded content, micro-blogging is a
powerful new way of making sure it is seen," said Majid Abai, Pringo CEO.
"It's a great distribution channel for both marketers and media owners and
we have responded quickly to customer feedback that this is an essential
requirement for their online communities."
Pringo CEO Majid Abai is also a speaker at the Social Networking
Conference. The topic of his panel session is 'Software & Social Platforms
Delivering Web 2.0 Next Generation Portals to the Enterprise'. Abai will
discuss the critical steps and criteria for enterprises to choose the right
social computing platforms. The panel takes place at 11:00am on Friday,
July 11, as part of track A.
