®, today announced that it has signed an agreement to become a contracted supplier of its Sunrise Enterprise clinical and financial solutions for Premier Purchasing Partners LP, one of the nation's largest healthcare group purchasing organizations with $31 billion in annual purchasing volume.
The agreement gives Eclipsys’ greater access to the more than 1,700 acute care hospital members of the Premier alliance as well as more than 49,000 other healthcare sites. Premier members include many of the nation's prominent healthcare institutions, integrated delivery networks and group affiliates. Premier has a field force of more than 100 staff and consultants who promote solutions to its members. Eclipsys sales force will continue to sell the company's solutions directly to Premier participating members with marketing and sales support from Premier.
