Anderson will manage the Agency's Boston office as it continues to attract a roster of premier clients including Akamai, Johnson & Johnson, Bearing Point and RealNetworks.
Formerly a vice president of account services for SHIFT, Anderson brings over a decade of leadership experience in IT security public relations and high-tech public relations, managing a broad range of expertise in various industries and vertical markets, including security, network management, storage, financial services, government, education and healthcare.
In her role, Anderson also leads SHIFT's international PR efforts, building a network of best-of-breed, independent agencies in each major geo. When SHIFT's clients require international PR, the Agency can offer centralized billing and coordination.
Prior to SHIFT, Anderson worked at Sterling Hager, Inc. (SHIFT's predecessor company) directing strategy and message development, as well as coordinating media and analyst relations with clients in the security, e-learning, B2B and e-commerce space.
Anderson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and sociology from Hollins College as well as a Masters in public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
