Transphorm, based in Watford, is one of the UK's leading training and recruitment consultancies, specialising in Neuro Linguistic Programming, chose Powwownow's voice conferencing solution for their ever evolving training services. Their enviable client list includes some of the most well known and innovative companies operating in the UK including Estee Lauder, Tesco, M&S and Clinique.

London (PRWeb UK) November 9, 2009 -- Underpinning the range of bespoke training services which Transphorm tailors to suit the business needs of its clients, Transphorm utilises state of the art technology, such as voice conferencing to make its training delivery process flexible and efficient for learners. At the same time, Transphorm is currently about to embark on integrating web conferencing into its training services.

Having researched the options available for telephone conferencing, Transphorm chose to use the Powwownow service back in 2005 and has been using the voice conferencing service successfully ever since.

Now Europe's leading conference calling service, Powwownow offers customers free conference calls service with the ethos of no booking, no billing, no fuss. Powwownow customers do not need to book a conference room and never receive an invoice. Callers into the conference call just pay the cost of their own phone call (typically 6.7p per minute) which appears on their phone bill in the same way as any other call.

"For our clients, the Powwownow service is straightforward to use and billing is simple. As employees are often spread out across the country - as with Tesco - the combination of face-to-face training and follow-up conference calls, means that employees receive effective and sustainable ongoing training for a fraction of the cost of onsite training," commented Oliver Thompson, Managing Director at Transphorm.

"In our work with GSA, who operate a call centre network with teams of home workers around the UK, after the initial training sessions where we brought key employees together, we used the Powwownow service for follow-up training sessions for between 20 to 25 home workers at a time, as well as individual sessions. This method of delivery saves money and time all round as well as being good for the environment too."

Transphorm is also now looking to utilise Powwownow's new 'Showtime' web conferencing service, which enables easy sharing and presenting of documents and presentations via the web to one or many web conferencing participants for free.

Oliver added: "The new Showtime service will make training large numbers of people in different locations - in the UK and internationally - efficient and easy through being able to demonstrate concepts visually. The advantage that this will offer over training delivered using a telephone conference and PowerPoint slides, is the ability to guide the audience through a presentation as you'd like them to see things, rather than them flicking ahead. The fact the service is free, makes it an obvious choice too."

About Powwownow: Powwownow was founded in 2004, offering customers low-cost conference calling facilities with the ethos of no booking, no billing, no fuss (the customer does not need to book a conference room and never receives a bill from Powwownow, just the cost of an 0844 national rate call added to their bill). Turnover for 2009 is expected to reach £7m. The company operates in 14 countries including the US and major European markets. Powwownow employs 32 people and is based in Richmond, London.
