Agreement to Assist in Seamless Enhancement of Patient Care Initiatives TROY, Mich., Sept. 22
TROY, Mich., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- CareTech Solutions, an information technology (IT) services provider for hospitals and health systems, announced today it has signed a comprehensive IT outsourcing agreement with Michigan's Port Huron Hospital which includes an inpatient facility as well as community health centers in the surrounding areas. Port Huron Hospital has continued to deliver exceptional patient care for St. Clair and Sanilac Counties since its founding in 1882.

Under the terms of the agreement, CareTech Solutions will assume responsibility of providing Port Huron Hospital complete IT infrastructure outsourcing, service desk, and support of the hospital's applications, data center operations, desktop computing environment, network and telecommunications over the next five years. In addition, CareTech will work with the hospital to develop their information systems strategic plan to sustain delivery of quality patient care and staff efficiencies.
