FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg is pleased to announce that Dr. Todd P. Ginestra will be joining its practice.
The practice is currently booking appointments for Dr. Ginestra, who will offer reconstructive surgery such as breast reconstruction and breast reduction. In addition, Dr. Ginestra will perform cosmetic procedures such as breast augmentations, tummy tucks, liposuction, and face lifts.
An Illinois native, Dr. Ginestra, 41, earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois- College of Medicine in Rockford and completed his residency work in plastic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Ginestra is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
He has been practicing in Paducah, Ky., since 2000.
Dr. Ginestra has performed a wide variety of cosmetic surgeries, but he said he most enjoys doing reconstructive work, especially for women who have had mastectomies, and for patients disfigured by facial skin cancers.
He said reconstructive surgery is intellectually challenging and professionally gratifying.
For people disfigured because of a serious injury or illness, reconstructive surgery can vastly improve their quality of life and make a powerful impact on how they view themselves, he said.

Dr. Ginestra will be accepting insurance for reconstruction procedures. He will begin seeing patients on March 3.
Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg has been the premier provider of cosmetic surgery in the Fredericksburg area since 1983.
