OAKLAND, Calif., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Placemaking Group, a leading Bay Area full-service public relations, Web and marketing communications firm, announced today the addition of Rhonda Ellen Silva as account manager.

She will also assist in new business development.
Her past experience includes servicing clients in consumer technology, biotech/healthcare, and professional services.
Silva's most recent position was as principal of Optimum Media Training, from 2005-2008. Greg Lefevre, former bureau chief of CNN, San Francisco, will continue his role as director of coaching and training.
The Oakland resident was CEO of Blue Skies Marketing and Public Relations, from 2002-2005, and vice president from 1997-2002. Prior to that, she was an account executive at PR Newswire. Silva is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America, San Francisco Chapter, serves on the board of directors, and is vice president of programs. She holds a B.A. degree in mass communication.
