Magazine's 2008 Agency of the Year, names former Publicis Worldwide SVP
Frank Schumacher as Senior Vice President, Managing Director of PJA's West
Coast operation headquartered in San Francisco, according to EVP, Partner
Mike O'Toole. Mr. Schumacher will immediately assume the responsibility for
the San Francisco office located in Union Square.
Commenting on the addition of Mr. Schumacher, Mr. O'Toole said, "Our focus
as an agency is brands built on innovation. Frank's experience with global
technology leaders such as HP, Kodak, and Apple make him a great addition
to our leadership team."
Prior to joining PJA, Mr. Schumacher was Director of Client Services &
Brand Strategy at Swirl, Inc. in San Francisco where his clients included
eBay, Cisco, Jamba Juice, PayPal, and Delta Dental. He spent several years
as SVP, Worldwide Director at Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco where
he was responsible for the $600 Million Hewlett-Packard business in 97
countries. Mr. Schumacher also served for more than five years as Senior
Partner, Executive Group Director at Ogilvy & Mather in New York City,
leading the Eastman Kodak business worldwide. But his early career was
spent in marketing at Apple Computer where he directed field marketing,
product marketing, and worldwide advertising.

Mr. Schumacher is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and received
his Masters Degree in Advertising and Marketing from Northwestern
University.
