DALLAS - (Business Wire) Global 360, a leading provider of Process and Document Management solutions, today announced that its customer, the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida, has been named a finalist in the 2009 Global Awards for Excellence in Business Process Management (BPM) and Workflow. The County Clerk’s office worked with Global 360 to implement a case management solution for its Probate Department that has dramatically improved customer service and access to information – and should potentially save the Clerk millions of dollars in storage, labor, and supply costs in the future. In the most densely populated county in Florida, the Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court is responsible for maintaining court records and pleadings, securing court evidence, collecting and disbursing court fines, and a variety of other functions within the county’s judicial system. Its challenge was to replace time-consuming and costly paper-based processes with an automated system to standardize processes, improve visibility, meet legislative mandates, and enhance customer service to county judiciary and citizens.
